Writing & Publishing for Children & Teens – Class with Chinook Learning Services

Children's Writer's Guide-frontIn this half-day class, participants learn how to write a novel for children and teens. Discover where writers get their ideas and how they turn them into stories. Learn about the basics of story structure, creation of characters, importance of editing and revision, and approaching publishers.

All participants will also have the opportunity to have a 1000-word piece of work assessed by the instructor.

The half-day morning class takes place on Saturday, November 28 from 9 am to 12 pm at Viscount Bennett Centre, 2519 Richmond Road SW in Calgary.
