Workshop at Three Hills Library – May 25

This week at Three Hills Library I’ll be running a condensed version of my workshop on Writing for Children and Young Adults.

Start to learn how to write effective, authentic, and appealing fiction for young people and how to turn your ideas into compelling stories. Explore the writing process from initial concept to finished work including story structure, the creation of outlines and the importance of research, editing and revision. Examine ways to to research publishing houses where you can submit your work, along with cover letters, synopses and sample chapters.

The focus is on writing for readers, 8 – 14. However some of the materials may also cover older and younger age groups.
