Foothills Young Authors Conference 2018
The Young Authors Conference, organized by the Foothills School Division, will take place this year on Saturday, April 14, at Highwood High School in High River, Alberta.
Highly creative and talented students from schools in Okotoks, High River, Black Diamond, Turner Valley, Longview, Millarville, and the surrounding area come together for a wide variety of highly informative and entertaining workshops by local authors, writers, and illustrators.
This year, I’m honored to have been invited to be the keynote speaker at the event. I am delighted to be part of the conference once again, conducting creative writing sessions with elementary and junior high school students. This year’s event once again promises to be a great success.
